Hou Qua is the pronunciation for ''peach fruit๏ผๆกๆ๏ผโ in our Toishanese dialect, which was the term of endearment given to our founder by her parents when she was a child. It symbolises blessed serendipity. Hence this auspicious name was chosen for our third-generation endeavour which began from a humble kampung kitchen.
We take pride in preserving traditional recipes handled down from our ancestors. We strongly believed that food tells a lot about oneโs culture and also bring loved ones together.
